What should my TDS be?Updated a month ago
TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is a measurement of the amount of "stuff" that has dissolved in your water. This is measured in Milligrams Per Liter, or mg/L. For each Third Wave Water Profile, this number can vary because different profiles have different needs for their quantity of minerals. Each of the below measurements could see variations of +/- 10%.
TDS by Profile:
Classic Light Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈150 mg/L
Medium Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈150 mg/L
Dark Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈180 mg/L
Espresso Machine Profile has a TDS of ≈150 mg/L
Low Acid Profile has a TDS of ≈220 mg/L
Cold Brew Profile has a TDS of ≈220 mg/L
