What should my TDS be?Updated a month ago
TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is a measurement of the amount of "stuff" that has dissolved in your water. This is measured in Parts Per Million, or ppm. For each Third Wave Water Profile, this number can vary because different profiles have different needs for their quantity of minerals. Each of the below measurements could see variations of +/- 10%.
TDS by Profile:
Classic Light Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈150ppm
Medium Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈150ppm
Dark Roast Profile has a TDS of ≈180ppm
Espresso Machine Profile has a TDS of ≈150ppm
Low Acid Profile has a TDS of ≈220ppm
Cold Brew Profile has a TDS of ≈220ppm
