There are two main reasons as to why you should use Third Wave Water minerals for your coffee brewing: Flavor and Maintenance.
Flavor:
Each of Third Wave Water's six (6) profiles are designed to give you a much better tasting cup of coffee depending on the style or roast level you brew with. Our 3 Roast Level Profiles (Light Roast Profile, Medium Roast Profile, and Dark Roast Profile) are varied slightly in their makeup in order to give your preferred roast of coffee it's signature tastes without the bitterness!
Our Light Roast Profile, Medium Roast Profile, and Espresso Machine Profile also meet the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards for water for coffee for improved flavor.
Maintenance:
Each of Third Wave Water's 6 profiles are also made with your equipment's maintenance in mind. All of our profiles are equipped with only permanent hardness minerals, meaning they will not cause any limescale in your kettle, coffee maker, or espresso machine. Our Espresso Machine Profile also removes chlorides from the recipe, meaning it will prevent corrosion from damaging your machine's boiler.
